What are the benefits to practice?
This two-part course will explore ways to engage some of our more vulnerable writers, who are often difficult to motivate, and reluctant to put pen to paper. Practical strategies will be provided, alongside resources to try out in between sessions, ready to share feedback on impact at the second session.
Consider the different types of vulnerable writer and their barriers to writing.
Explore a range of strategies for teaching and learning which will meet the writing needs of vulnerable pupils, so that they can make progress.
Build a toolkit of resources that can be accessed to support and inspire vulnerable writers to write.
